Jackson State Prison Historic Tours

Take a trip to Jackson to experience the very first Michigan Prison. This prison was built in 1839 and is full of very interesting prison history. Come experience several prison blocks where prisoners were once housed.
Trip will include:
-Motorcoach pickup and drop off at the front entrance of the Midland Community Center.
-A guided tour inside Michigan's 1st prison and a guided tour in Cell block 7; which was the largest walled institute in the world.
-Lunch, which includes a sandwich, soup, dessert, and drinks.
-Snacks, games, and prizes on the bus. Prizes donated by Bayside Home care.

Departure time is 7:30 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early to the front entrance of the Community Center.
Return time is estimated to be 6:15 p.m. We will not be stopping for dinner.

You may bring a small cooler on the bus. Bring cash for the bus driver tip and tips for our tour guides within the prison.
Must be 10 years or older to attend trip. Register by March 8th . No refunds after March 8th.
